Nicholas DeNinno creates content for diverse distribution platforms and specializes in building next generation media platforms to reach the 18-24 demographic. He was recruited early in his career by Lorne Michaels (Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Kids in the Hall) to build Burly TV, the first network designed to reach the college market.
In early 2006, DeNinno led big media companies in embracing online video distribution when he launched Toga! (www.togatv.com), a 24-hour on-demand video service that features award-winning website content from www.NationalLampoon.com and National Lampoon College, and incorporated material from National Lampoon’s rich history of motion picture and television programming.
DeNinno also created the National Lampoon College Channel, the nation’s largest and fastest growing independent college television network, building upon relationships with hundreds universities across the country.
DeNinno started his a career at Food Network working on Emeril Live and at Broadway Video Entertainment / Burly TV on such shows as Half Baked, National Rage Page, Overkill, The Sex Talk Show, The Tame Show and Burly Vision. At National Lampoon, DeNinno has overseen the creation of over 400 hours of original programming including CollegeTown USA, Comedy Academy, Gamers and the AV Squad.
Experience in interactive and alternative programming – including launching new shows, developing franchises, marketing & programming media platforms and formatting & distributing vast libraries of content for mobile devices of all shapes and sizes.
DeNinno launched broadband video sites, Toga!, and successfully launched stand alone comedy channels on such platforms as AOL, Yahoo, TiVo, and Brightcove.
DeNinno has created over 400 hours of original programming.
